Origins

A small step into the Ganges World School and we ensure a giant leap for your child. We offer and follow C.B.S.E. curriculum. The school strives to make the students understand India's cultural diversity and rich variety of natural resources and to work for their protection and preservation for future generations. Students are encouraged to take part in Indian festivals which are celebrated in school in traditional style. Our community service programme encourages engagement with the problems of ordinary Indians.

The Ganges World School applies approaches to teaching and learning which are well - tried in big cities of India but new to Kanpur. We have opted for a student centered system with ample opportunities for project work and discovery learning, guided by a well - qualified teaching faculty where every aspect of teaching and learning is supported by modern and relevant technology.

The Campus

First we designed the curriculum, then we built the school. So many schools do it the other way round. They construct an attractive building and find out too late that the rooms are too small or wrongly shaped. Cramped classroom may be appropriate to old - fashioned schools, where the students too frequently sit passively in rows and listen to lectures. Modern learning demands generous spaces in which furniture can be arranged to reflect different methodologies: groups for projects works, circle for discussion and so on. The classroom which are airy give the teacher room to support, facilitate, stimulate and direct.

'A healthy mind makes a healthy body'. Hygiene and cleanliness are given priority at The Ganges world School. R.O. water systems, lush green ambience, colourful and spacious rooms adds to its attraction.
