Mrs. Neeru Singh, proprietor and manager of this institution is fundamentally an educationist, a visionary with a dream to make this world a better place to live in and, since the future belongs to our children, she has taken upon herself the task of building and shaping the lives of students in a way that will give them an edge above others.
Mrs. Singh feels that academic excellence is of prime importance in a student’s life, but equally significant are extra-curricular activities, sports and cultural programmes which enhance the personality of the students , giving them confidence to face the future challenges in today’s competitive world. All these together build up not only the Intelligence Quotient (IQ), Emotional Quotient (EQ) but also the spiritual Quotient which, currently is considered to be even more important in any chosen career.
Mrs. Singh has an unparalleled and rich experience behind her. She started her career young, as a teacher in Methodist High School in the year 1980 and went onto become the Head of the Department of Chemistry. She then became the principal of Dr. Virendra Swaroop public school, cantt. Kanpur in the year 2001. Under her able guidance the school flourished in all fields. Academically, she gave excellence results. Many of the board toppers were from this school. Extra-curricular activities her students won trophies a number of times. In for number of years. It was due to her untiring zeal that she was able to revive the inter-school Athletic Meet in the year 2003 after a gap of eight years. She hosted this meet twice and brought laurels for Dr. Virendra Swaroop Public School, Cantt.
Efforts made feels in the direction of serving humanity are always recognized. She was therefore honored by the then Governor of U.P. and Vice Chancellor of CSJMU, prof. Katiyar in the year 2002.
Mrs. Singh feels that the aim of education is ‘ To discover the genius in each child ’ . For this she believes in adopting a value-based student’s centered learning. To motivate the children to attain success, Mrs. Singh is assisted by a theme of qualified and dedicated staff who also believe in her principles and philosophy of humility and sensitivity-qualities which she wishes to inculcate in all her children.
